16.06.2010, Federal Republic of Germany Award: eleven nominations

KMS TEAM was nominated eleven times for the 2011 Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany. The selected works comprised designs for Canyon Bicycles (2), Dog Ear Films, Stiftung Warentest, Taiping Carpets, voestalpine, Vonrosen (2), Wiedemann Werkstätten (3) as well as one of KMS-TEAM’s own projects.

The highest official German prize in the field of design is tendered by the Federal Minister for Economics and Technology and is organized by the German Design Council. The nomination is made by the federal ministry and the economics ministries and senators of the Länder and requires that the respective work has already received at least one recognized award. Applications by the designers of the work themselves are not possible. The jury makes its decisions at the end of the summer, and the winners are announced in October.
