»We further developed the Audi CI in line with the challenges posed by the latest advancements in the digital space. We no longer make a distinction between digital and analogue channels. More than anything, this move has simplified our work – allowing us to implement our ideas and projects more quickly and flexibly. In practice, this means: We’re changing the Audi rings to 2D for use in print and digital applications and abandoning the fixed positions of our tagline and logo. We’re also adapting how we work with the Audi primary colors, developing a new imagery style and digital font weights for Audi Type. We also have two additional basic elements: icons and animation design. We are implementing our new CI gradually across our markets based on their individual communication needs.«
