The »Porsche Intelligent Performance« wordmark was adapted in large letters on the Le Mans prototypes of the factory team in three different colors – black writing on the white body, and white type on the red and black race cars. The lettering is only clearly legible from above, but even the smallest elements of this striking type reflect the identity of the Porsche brand – maximum performance with the highest efficiency.

The red prototype with race number 17 is an homage to the Porsche that won the brand’s first overall victory at Le Mans in 1970. The black LMP1 with number 19 symbolizes the technical relationship between the Porsche 919 Hybrid and Porsche 918 Spyder. The white Porsche 919 Hybrid with number 19 features the color that Porsche sported in 2014, when returning to top-class sports after 16 years. Two prototypes in classic white will start all other WEC races.
