The cross-media application LICHTGESTALTEN combines spatial experience with design and digital innovation with analogue reproduction.

The massive installation, measuring 6 x 4 meters, was the focus of the KMS TEAM anniversary event at Museum Villa Stuck in Munich. All guests had the opportunity to individually design high-resolution portraits using intuitive gestures. There are over eight billion ways to combine this personal portrait with colors, typography and stylistic elements to create truly unique motifs. The resulting picture was generated in PDF format, could be shared on social media channels and was also printed as a DIN A0 poster and sent to the guests. During the event, the data from the installation was projected onto the event stage in real time.

Our agency anniversary was marked by an extensive and integrated communication campaign. The poster series was also used outdoors as part of the event communication at the museum and a selection of unique portraits was displayed on DIN A0 posters as part of an exhibition at the agency. LICHTGESTALTEN is also featured as a microsite.

We took our award-winning interactive installation and turned it into an app for iOS and Android. The app brings the event experience to life on mobile devices. The user designs the portrait with multi-edit functions and touch controls to create consciously designed or random results. Afterwards, the artwork can be sent to friends and family and shared online.
