The double helix is built from the word »CARE« in an animated sequence on the homepage. Symbolic of the replacement of genes in gene therapy treatments, the »A« is replaced by a »U« to change the meaning of the word – a clear and vivid way of illustrating the complex field of gene therapy.

We also used the main element of AMT’s research in the annual report of the company, which is now known as uniQure: the DNA double helix structure. Substituting individual letters in the individual chapters turns »Care« to »Cure«, »Chance« to »Change« and »Believe« to »Relieve«.
