The logo, a combination of a symbol and wordmark, was derived from the core message »Fonic is simple, affordable, fast and independent«. The symbol, derived from a 10 cent coin, symbolizes the main benefit of the brand: the price. The rounded edges in the typography represent Fonic’s simple, clearly structured range of products and services.
The website went online once the corporate design was introduced. A nationwide print campaign and sales at discount supermarket Lidl started at the same time.
