Today, the museums (Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek and Pinakothek der Moderne) are an attractive, interdisciplinary ensemble for a huge range of eras and trends in the occidental arts from Middle Ages to the present. We have supported communication efforts since the opening of the Pinakothek der Moderne 2002, establishing the museums as a brand within the large field of international institutions. This included a logo system, catalogues, invitations, city posters, signage and web presence.
