11/28/2023 Strategy and design agency KMS TEAM wel­comes two new­comers to their Munich location that are familiar names in the industry: Simon Maier-Rahmer joins as Design Director, and Volker Heine is taking on the newly formed Creative Strategy Director role.

In his new position, Volker Heine (39) is res­pon­sible for com­bining good design with strategy, tech­nology and commu­nication. He started his career as an ad­vertising copy­writer, but quickly moved on to become a versatile Creative Director with a keen interest in the boun­daries of classic creation. After working for Plan.Net/Seviceplan, DDB and Deloitte Digital, several awards and 12 years of pro­fessional ex­perience, Volker says: »Brands give us the oppor­tunity to find a point of reference and identi­fication in our digitalised world. This makes it all the more impor­tant that we not leave their positive and accurate per­ception to chance.«

Simon Maier-Rahmer (44) is very familiar with KMS TEAM from two previous roles. After 12 years at Martin et Karczinski, where he most recently worked as Creative Director for clients like Lufthansa, Mewa and Occhio, he’s returning to his roots. »KMS TEAM hasn’t ever lost its original DNA, even if the agency has funda­mentally changed. Major names in design work here, and I’m looking forward to the oppor­tunity to grow with them,« Simon explains.
