The spring 2013 exhibition at Munich’s Villa Stuck, »Aftermath of Art Jewellery. Jewellery from Oslo and Munich«, featured eight prominent artists in the German and Scandinavian jewelry scene. All of them are known for their innovative concepts, interesting materials and perfect craftsmanship. Special emphasis was placed on collaborations between Germany and Norway.

The poster makes the viewer’s eye focus on one of the displayed exhibits. The big, striking typography highlights the spatial aspect. The list of exhibitor names is reminiscent of the hairs extending from the shown piece.

Built as a »total artwork« at the end of the 19th century, Franz von Stuck’s villa in Munich now houses a museum designed to combine Art Nouveau with contemporary art. The program concept and communication pick up on this constellation and translate von Stuck’s progressive spirit into the modern day.
