Hello
Opportunities

7/31/25 NürnbergMesse presents a comprehensive rebranding to better meet the demands of the digital world and to strengthen its position as an international platform for innovation, collaboration, and growth. The strategy and design agency KMS TEAM developed the new future-oriented brand idea »Hello Opportunities«. It is used both as a tagline and as a central theme that places human interaction at the heart of the brand – highlighting it as a key strength of the trade fair.

The new visual identity is as colourful and diverse as the endless ideas that emerge when people come together. »Hello Opportunities is more than just a tagline. It is our promise to our customers and partners for an inspiring shared future – onsite and online. KMS TEAM has not only sharpened our self-image, but also translated it into a future-proof design that visually summarises our brand essence,« says Peter Ottmann, CEO of NürnbergMesse Group.

For NürnbergMesse, human interaction is not just an outward promise but a lived reality. The result shows the power of what we’ve achieved together.

All elements of the corporate design were redesigned on the basis of the sharpened identity. Vibrant colours (Empowering Orange, Embracing Red, and Inspirational Pink), new icons, custom illustrations in collage style, and a revised logo symbolise what NürnbergMesse stands for: connection, exchange, and shared progress. At the core of the design system are the so-called Connection Shapes. With the help of the Shape Generator – a bespoke digital tool – the team at NürnbergeMesse can generate an endless variety of these shapes for every application quickly and cost-effectively in-house.

The visual appearance is complemented by a custom font that is derived directly from the central design idea. It provides NürnbergMesse with a distinct visual identity and media flexibility. Whether used on posters, in motion design, or across social media – the flexible design system is cross-media, inclusive, and developed in accordance with international WCAG/APCA accessibility standards.

Helena Betsch, Design Director at KMS TEAM, explains: »For NürnbergMesse, human interaction is not just an outward promise but a lived reality. We are delighted to have supported the NürnbergMesse team throughout the entire rebranding process. The result shows the power of what we’ve achieved together.«

What began in 1974 with the idea of giving a stage to the regional economy has evolved into a global exhibition company with over 1.5 million visitors annually. The new brand identity is an invitation to shift perspectives – and a clear commitment to continuous development. With »Hello Opportunities«, NürnbergMesse positions itself as an agile platform in a dynamic, global trade fair market and sends a strong signal for a new kind of brand leadership within the industry.

The NürnbergMesse Group is one of the 15 largest exhibition companies in the world. It employs around 1,200 people at 15 locations in Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Brazil, China, India, and the USA. Its portfolio of around 120 physical and digital events focuses on five key areas: Retail & Consumer Goods, Building & Construction, Process Technology, Electronics & Security, and Social & Public. These events safeguard over 12,000 jobs and generate billions in tax revenue and consumer spending each year – making NürnbergMesse a vital economic driver for the Nuremberg metropolitan region and across Germany.
