Layher –
a brand design with a scaffolding system

Our new corporate design for Layher has been honoured with an iF Award in the Branding & Commu­nication Design category.

As the global market leader in scaf­folding systems, Layher faces an in­creasingly com­petitive environ­ment. The goal was to further develop and unify the corporate design across all channels. At the core of this trans­formation is the evo­lution of the brand appear­ance — visible through bold changes that ensure its future viability.

The new corporate font becomes the central design element. Like Layher’s scaf­folding systems, it is modular — its key shapes are derived from the logo. It is a prime example of how a custo­mized font, driven by a strong creative idea, can shape a brand’s visual identity and deliver a holistic design solution.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is regarded as one of the most important design honors in the world. It honors design achievements in all disciplines: product, packaging, branding & commu­nication, service design, archi­tecture and interior archi­tecture, user experience (UX), user interface (UI) and concepts.
