7/18/25 Four entries, four awards! The jury of the 33rd Corporate Design Award honours our strategic and creative work on four very different yet equally strong brand identities: VW California, Doppelmayr, osma and Layher.
VW California
With the launch of the new California brand, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles opens a new chapter. Previously just a product name, California now becomes a fully developed brand universe. The new brand design transforms the icon into a contemporary, powerful identity.
Doppelmayr
Doppelmayr, the global leader in ropeway systems, faced the challenge of adapting its brand presence across eight brands and businesses to new demands. The corporate design, based on the brand vision »Unlimited in Motion«, unites the group’s brands within a forward-looking concept – one that brings individual strengths together to create strategic synergies.
osma
osma, the long-standing lift manufacturer, has shifted its strategy to focus entirely on residential buildings. To credibly claim this new category of residential elevators, the brand needed a distinctive story that clearly sets it apart. Our solution: a surprising yet logical visual identity built around the stork – a symbol of good luck and a natural resident on rooftops.
Layher
The core element of Layher’s redesign – a leading provider of scaffolding systems – is a new modular corporate font derived from the logo. It defines a »scaffolding system« in both analogue and digital space, creating a visual framework for logo, colours, icons and imagery. Layher is a great example of how a customised font with a strong idea can shape a bold, holistic brand identity.
