of the Box
12/02/25 FENECON, a leading provider of hardware and software solutions for electricity storage systems, has realigned its brand positioning and evolved its visual identity together with the strategy and design agency KMS TEAM. At the heart of the relaunch is the new brand core »Energy out of the box«, which distils FENECON’s expertise in modular, future-proof and intelligent energy storage systems and forms the foundation of the new corporate design.
Starting from the question of how a brand becomes tangible when energy is not merely stored but approached holistically, KMS TEAM sharpened FENECON’s brand positioning and defined a clear, future-focused positioning. »Energy out of the box« refers both to the product itself and to the ambition to think in new and different ways – something FENECON demonstrates with creative and highly functional solutions for households, commerce and industry.

The corporate design reflects the modular logic of FENECON’s systems. Its centrepiece is a custom-designed headline typeface whose forms are derived directly from the existing logo: the outer, angular shape represents the hardware – the »box«, in other words the energy storage systems – while the inner, rounded form symbolises the charging bar, and therefore energy itself. The logo becomes the structural point of departure for the new typography and the visual expression of FENECON’s core business.
Together with KMS TEAM, a new imagery was developed, showing customers in their everyday lives – accessible, cross-generational and authentic. The new visual language was created in an extensive photoshoot and ensures a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
The new corporate design is being rolled out gradually from 1 December: at FENECON sites, on the new corporate website, across social media channels and within the user interface of the FENECON Energy Management System (FEMS). The brand will also be presented in its new design for the first time at the Solar Solutions trade fair in early December.
