Ingenhoven Architects is a leading German architecture firm. While designing the corporate website, we were inspired by the characteristic mirrored and transparent elements of the Ingenhoven facades. They visually blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior.
These elements appear as nearly transparent cross-fades on the website, covering the rhythmically changing images. Slow, flowing movements create a reserved, yet dynamic look. The type and picture meld together into one unit, similar to Ingenhoven’s »Green Building Design«, which connects buildings to their surrounding environments. In addition to communicating through the copy and photo, the website also reflects the firm’s mindset and working methods – shaped by structural clarity and a generous use of space.
We also designed the equipment for Christoph Ingenhoven’s office. It reflects self-confidence as well as his position as a top international architect.
Ingenhoven Architekten
In 1985, Christoph Ingenhoven founded ingenhoven associates, a practice that is one of the pioneers of sustainable architecture. The team consists of about 100 members of staff of different disciplines and aims to create architecture that responds to each respective location in a specific way and, at the same time, tries to find architectural answers to urgent questions of the present and near future.
