The animated key visual communicates the company strategy on the start and chapter opening pages: »The art of engineering« is explored in the three business areas of »Material«, »Mechanical« and »Plant«. The online annual report contains convenient functional elements including an interactive key figure comparison, zoom and Excel table downloads. It links users directly with investors, shareholders and partner companies via social media.

The magazine-like yearbook with its many images was translated into an extensive tablet-optimized microsite within the annual report. The images and copy are arranged on different layers and can be navigated separately from each other at the touch of a finger (parallax scrolling). In this way, the articles and topics create a consistent, flowing and dramatic narrative.
